VeryPDF Advanced PDF Page Cut is a specialized desktop application designed to physically slice a single PDF page into smaller, separate pages or pieces by drawing manual grid lines. This is distinct from standard PDF splitters that separate documents by page ranges; instead, it breaks up connected sheets, multi-panel brochures, or multi-ticket layouts into individual pages. Here is how to use the software to split your pages: Step 1: Open Your Document Launch the VeryPDF Advanced PDF Page Cut application.
Click the Open button in the toolbar or drag and drop your target PDF directly into the interface.
Left-hand thumbnails will populate. Click any thumbnail to open that specific page in the central preview panel. Step 2: Draw Your Cut Marks
You can slice your pages using one of three primary methods in the toolbar:
Draw Horizontal Lines: Click this icon, then click and drag across the page to slice a page horizontally (ideal for stacked invoices or multiple tickets).
Draw Vertical Lines: Click this icon to draw top-to-bottom lines (ideal for double-page book scans or multi-fold brochures).
Add Grid: Click this to launch a dialog box. Enter the exact number of rows and columns you want, and the software will automatically generate an evenly distributed cutting grid across the canvas.
Tip: You can manually adjust any line’s location by dragging it with your mouse, or type an exact percentage into the properties box for precision. Step 3: Apply the Slices to Other Pages
If your document has a uniform layout across multiple sheets: Look for the batch options on the control panel.
Choose to apply your current cutting lines to All Pages, Odd Pages, Even Pages, or a specific custom Page Range. Step 4: Remove Unwanted Elements (Optional)
If there are margins, blank margins, or specific sliced sections you do not want to keep: Click on the specific slice area you want to discard.
Click the Delete Pieces button to exclude them from your final export. Step 5: Cut and Save Your Layout Click the Cut and Save button on the main toolbar. Choose your output folder and name your file.
Execute the operation. The software will process the document and export a new PDF where each boxed quadrant or row has successfully become its own individual sequential page.
