SophiApp is a free, open-source Windows fine-tuning tool designed to configure Windows 10 and Windows 11 safely using officially documented Microsoft methods. Unlike traditional aggressive “registry cleaners” or “debloaters” that blindly remove system components, SophiApp serves as a graphical user interface (GUI) alternative to the widely used Sophia Script for Windows. It reads your operating system’s real-time state dynamically and features more than 130 safe tweaks to optimize your privacy, user interface, and system behavior. Step 1: Download & Initial Setup

SophiApp is a fully portable application. It does not modify your system registry upon launch, write local app data configuration files, or require an installation process.

Prerequisites: Ensure you are logged in to Windows with only one Administrator account active; multiple concurrent active profile sessions can cause automation script conflicts.

Acquisition: Download the latest release package directly via the official Sophia-Community GitHub Repository. Alternatively, you can pull it instantly using a package manager: PowerShell: irm app.sophi.app -useb | iex Winget: winget download –id=TeamSophia.SophiApp

Extraction: Extract the compressed .zip archive completely. Locate SophiApp.exe alongside its accompanying Bin folder. Right-click the executable and select Run as Administrator to open the interface. Step 2: Navigating Configuration Categories

The UI features a clean layout utilizing the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) pattern with fully multithreaded processing to prevent application freezes. Tweaks are organized into specific system categories:

Privacy & Telemetry: Toggle diagnostic tracking data packets sent to external servers, block specific diagnostic scheduled tasks, and completely disable localized ad tracking.

Personalization: Apply “deep” File Explorer adjustments, toggle native context menus (such as reverting the Windows 11 context menu back to the compact Windows 10 style), and personalize taskbar alignment.

System: Adjust OS behavior regarding automatic updates, clean up background storage bloat, and properly uninstall OneDrive from your core directory layout without leaving residual broken shortcut links.

UWP Apps: View a populated, dynamically rendered menu of Universal Windows Platform apps utilizing friendly localized package names and native app icons. Easily choose which pre-installed Microsoft store bloatware to remove safely.

Task Scheduler: Configure routine, automated native toast notifications and set custom triggers for the built-in Windows Cleanup utilities to delete unused temporary updates.

Security: Manage Microsoft Defender Antivirus features, toggle Controlled Folder Access protections, and manage exclusion parameters. Step 3: Customizing with Advanced Settings

If certain expected features seem missing from the immediate UI display, the app may be filtering out settings dynamically. GitHub – Sophia-Community/SophiApp: :zap
